Anthony Camera is a Denver based commercial photographer
specializing in editorial and advertising photography and in
both studio and environmental portraiture. Camera’s work has
appeared in Westword, News Week, Starz-Encore, Psychology
Today, Cricket, and Inline Media among others.
A graduate of the University of Denver with a BA in Psychology
and Economics followed by a Masters degree in Economics, also
from University of Denver, “I tried to deny my life long
calling as God’s official photographer and strive for a life
in middle-management... That didn’t work out so well,” says
Camera with a devious laugh of his previous life choices.
While earning his BA, Camera also attended American University
in Paris and Parsons Paris where he studied photography. This
explains the heavy European influence visible throughout his
work. Camera has lived and worked in New York City, Sweden,
France and London. With 20 years experience in his field,
Camera’s soulful and sometimes deeply disturbing images
capture his subjects with a brutal honestly, emphasizing each
editorial and subject and creating a full experience for both
reader and author.
And yes, Camera is his real name is Camera
